What can our service do for you?

We can advocate on your behalf to the Metropolitan Police Service, Haringey Council and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust who too often ignore black people. We provide a free consultation and £110 a day advocacy fee.

We aim to set up Aseye’s Chambers in February 2020 which will be a black owned chambers to deal with Actions Against The Police, statutory services failings and crime. We aim to use Barristers and law students to provide free representation and legal advice to African and Caribbean victims of Metropolitan Police Service such as Ms Cherry Grove who was left paralysed by the police after they shot her in the neck in Brixton.

Who is in the picture?

  • Victoria Climbie was a child who lived in Haringey with her great Aunt and her boyfriend Carl Manning and both eventually killed her at 8 years old.  She was failed by the Metropolitan Police Service, Brent Social Services, UCKG Church, North Middlesex Hospital and Haringey Social Services, services whom she had come into contact with several times leading up to her death. She died because she was black and her death was reported in the news which led to the ‘Every Child Matters’ and the Victoria Climbie Inquiry.

  • Cynthia Jarrett was a much loved mother and Broadwater Farm estate resident who was murdered by the Metropolitan Police Service in her own home. She came into contact with the police when her son was stopped by them for a minor motor issue.  This also resulted in a riot.
    Cynthia Jarrett
  • Mark Duggan was a friendly Haringey/Broadwater Farm Estate resident who was shot dead by the stupid Metropolitan Police Service. After his death the police failed to inform his family and advertised his death nationally on TV with lies made about him.  This consequently sparked the England riots.
